Weddings

Full days, told honestly — the vows, the dancing, and everything nobody planned.

The bride and groom rest their foreheads together, her bouquet of dried florals between them, warm light off the old stone wall.
The bride smiles beneath the wooden ceremony arch, dried grasses and ribbon hung overhead.
The bride in her short white dress holds her rust-and-cream bouquet by the corral fence, desert hillside behind.
The couple faces each other for their vows under the arch at the old stone homestead.
A detail of the bouquet hanging at the bride's side, sand and ceremony flowers at her feet.
The groom throws an arm up in celebration as the two of them stand hand in hand on the cowhide rug.
The newlyweds walk out hand in hand past the stone walls in the low afternoon sun.
The couple pauses together under a bare desert tree, the bouquet still in her hand.

Engagements

The just-said-yes sessions — new rings, nervous laughter, and whatever light the evening decides to give us.

She hooks an arm around his neck and laughs, dry grass to the fence line and mountains beyond.
A kiss on the cheek in the June-cured grass, the ridge hazy blue behind them.
He kisses her cheek while she smiles straight at the camera.
She grins at the camera while he can't stop looking at her.
She looks up at him from a low angle, field and sky behind.
She throws a peace sign while he grins — the outtake that made the cut.
Her ring hand flat on his chest, both of them looking right into the lens.
Just after she said yes — a kiss straight into the setting sun, his hat brim catching the flare.

Family

An hour outside with your people. Nobody says cheese, and somebody always ends up in the grass.

Mom and Dad steal a kiss while their daughter minds the blue balloons, sun flaring through the trees.
The three of them standing together in the dry gold field just before sunset.
Dad scoops his daughter up for a kiss, backlit by the low sun.
The girl leans into her mom's long dress while the sun drops behind the trees.
All three walking hand in hand through the tall grass, golden light on their backs.
The big-sister-to-be grins and holds up a tiny "little brother" onesie.
She hugs the string of blue balloons like she already owns the news.
Her parents kiss behind her while she holds the balloons at golden hour.

Seniors & Prom

Senior year goes fast. Bring the truck, the dress, or the dog — we'll make an evening of it.

Laughing from the open back of the truck, the lake glowing gold behind her.
Sitting cross-legged on the tailgate blankets in her white crochet top.
Leaning out the driver's window with her arms folded, easy smile, sunset on the water.
Sun flare off the lake as she leans back in the window, hand in her hair.
Second outfit, same truck — settled into the doorway in a grey tee.
Stretched out on the quilt in the back, chin on her hand, golden light pouring in.
Looking out over the tailgate as the sun drops toward the water.
He twirls her on the school lawn, the mauve satin dress catching the light.
